GO Industries is seeking a Technical Operations Coordinator, to support a variety of operations ranging from the assembly and testing of control panels to customer-facing roles, and maintenance. This role requires a candidate who is semi-skilled in mechanical and electrical fundamentals, possesses strong computer skills, and can work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:Control Panel Assembly and Testing:- Assemble, wire, and test control panels across different stages ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.Stock and Freight Management:- Manage inventory and monitor stock levels.- Handle deliveries and freight logistics for spare parts and online orders.- Manage online inventory for existing and new products.Customer Support and Education:- Handle warranty work for products from GO Industries, and other clients.- Offer customer support both over the phone and on-site, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.- Conduct customer meetings and provide education on products and services.Maintenance and Groundskeeping:- Perform regular maintenance and groundskeeping duties to ensure operational and visual standards are met.- Ensure all machinery or vehicles are maintained, upholding health, safety and security in the warehouse at all times.General- Support the day-to-day operations to improve efficiency.- Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse and workshop.- Work on special projects and new product launches.
Skills and Qualifications:- Semi-skilled in mechanical and electrical principles.- Outstanding organisational skills are essential- Excellent communication is MUST- Attention to detail is a MUST- Proficient with computers and able to navigate and utilise software effectively.- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Desire to learn and grow with a growing business.- Experience in website management and familiarity with Xero software is highly desirable.- Knowledge of procurement and product sourcing processes is a bonus.
Education and Experience:- High school certificate required; technical or vocational training preferred.- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
