Warehouse Assistant Required - No Weekends required!

The Role As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out various storage and dispatch duties, ensuring the efficient and timely processing of orders. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized and safe warehouse while contributing to the overall success of the logistics and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and process sales orders to ensure timely dispatch.Unload trucks, verify incoming goods, and reconcile with delivery paperwork.Accurately package and load goods for dispatch.Operate the forklift safely and efficiently.Issue items for sales orders and inter-warehouse stock transfers.Maintain inventory accuracy and manage item locations.Participate in stock-takes and cycle counts.Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe.Ensure that all warehouse machinery is maintained in safe working conditions. Qualifications A current and valid forklift licenseMust have warehouse experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge & Experience At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in logistics and/or warehouse operations.A current forklift license is required.Police clearance certificate (or willingness to apply for one).Physically fit and able to safely lift heavy objects.Experience in using warehouse machinery and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Strong understanding of safe operating procedures in a warehouse setting.Proven track record of working autonomously and as part of a team to achieve daily targets.
