Warehouse Specialist

SWF Materials Handling is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company. We provide services to clients in all industries through parts supply and inspection of a variety of assets, including overhead cranes, mobile machinery, and various other materials handling equipment.

SWF are currently seeking the skills of a highly motivated and pro-active Warehouse Specialist to provide excellent support to our Darra based team in a full-time capacity. To succeed in this position the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with great communication skills and the ability to utilise initiative in all aspects of their role. This role will see you undertaking the following duties, including but not limited to;

• Maintaining and organising stock of parts/equipment in stores
• Identifying parts
• Receiving deliveries
• Preparing parts for shipment (including, but not limited to; cutting wire ropes, organising freight and packing parts for safe delivery)
• Maintaining accurate records of all stores, material and equipment held; including stocktakes and periodic audit.
• Assisting staff as required to support an efficient and teamwork environment.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with OH&S policies and procedures, and safe working practices.
