Task & Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Select and prepare metal materials for welding, ensuring surfaces are clean and suitable for fabrication.
• Cut metal sections accurately using hand tools, flame torches, or metal cutting machines.
• Shape and bend metal components or pipes with hand and machine tools, including heat and hammer techniques.
• Align and assemble metal parts using measuring tools to ensure precise fit.
• Join metal components using a variety of welding methods, as well as bolting or riveting when required.
• Inspect welds for consistency, penetration, and structural integrity.
• Finish completed products through polishing, filing, and chemical treatments.
• Smooth and clean welded areas using grinders, files, or chisels to meet quality standards.
