Workshop Supervisor

Steel Structures Australia is a family-owned business delivering high-quality structural steel to tier-one builders. We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our fabrication team in a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.

• Oversee structural steel fabrication and support team members as needed.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure work aligns with specifications.

• Perform quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with project management to meet production deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker with experience in structural steel fabrication.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Solid understanding of Australian standards and workshop safety practices.

• CSWIP Welding Inspector certificate desirable, but not essential.

• Forklift licence desirable, but not essential.
