About the role

We are seeking an experienced bather to join our team at Simply Stylish Dog Grooming in Balwyn North, VIC. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fun, friendly environment and help care for the dogs that visit our salon.

What you'll be doing

• Bathing and drying dogs of all breeds and sizes in preparation for grooming

• Ensuring dogs are comfortable and calm throughout the bathing process

• Using appropriate shampoos, conditioners and tools to achieve a high standard of cleanliness

• Drying dogs thoroughly using high-velocity dryers

• Assisting groomers with minor tasks as needed

• Maintaining a clean and organised grooming area

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience as a dog bather or in a similar role (preferred)

• Excellent handling skills and the ability to work safely and calmly around dogs

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

• A passion for animal welfare and a genuine love of dogs
