Our client Masterbend [39 903 813 315] are a leading fencing company specialising in high-quality commercial and industrial fencing. Masterbend takes pride in their craftsmanship and are looking for a qualified and experienced Metal Fabricator to join their team. The position is permanent full-time located in Milperra NSW, approx. 30 km from Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine the materials and fabrication requirements for fences, gates, and other structural elements
• Preparing and cutting metal components, including posts, rails, and panels, using hand tools, flame cutters, and metal cutting machines
• Aligning and assembling fencing components accurately using measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure a perfect fit
• Joining and securing metal parts through welding, bolting, and riveting to create strong and durable fence structures
• Inspecting welds and joins to ensure they meet required strength and precision standards
• Finishing and treating metalwork, including grinding, polishing, and applying protective coatings to prevent corrosion and enhance durability
• Following workplace safety standards to maintain a secure and efficient working environment

What we are looking for:

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) plus at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience in MIG/TIG welding and steel fabrication
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Forklift or truck license (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures

• Attractive salary package between $70,000 and $90,000 per year pending on skills and experience.
