RDL Financial Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Broker to join our Melbourne-based team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for assessing client financial needs and providing tailored lending solutions across residential, commercial, and investment finance. We would be flexible with the work-arrangements of this position. 

You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end lending process, from initial client consultation through to loan settlement, while maintaining strong relationships with lenders and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This candidate will be closely working with the company management for future company growth and working towards clients-acquisition and expansion.

Task & responsibilities

• Assess clients’ financial circumstances, borrowing capacity, and lending requirements
• Provide tailored mortgage broking and financial lending advice
• Recommend suitable loan structures and lending products based on client needs
• Liaise with banks, lenders, and financial institutions to arrange finance
• Prepare, review, and submit loan applications and supporting documentation
• Monitor loan applications and ensure timely progression through to settlement
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, policies, and industry requirements
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing support and communication

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in finance, business, accounting, or a related field
• Experience in mortgage broking, lending, or financial services is highly desirable
• Sound knowledge of lending products, financial markets, and credit assessment processes
• Strong understanding of mortgage broking practices and client advisory services
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple applications and meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
