The Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation (PMMRAC) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1994. We deliver essential services—including power, water, and municipal functions—and community services such as environmental health, housing, and accommodation facilities to remote Aboriginal communities across Western Australia.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Municipal Services Supervisor based in Karratha. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage a Municipal Services team to ensure the effective delivery of contractual, maintenance, and project works, while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Municipal Services team
• Oversee shrub management, dust control, and maintenance of community assets
• Inspect and maintain power and water compounds, airstrips, and infrastructure
• Prepare and submit regular inspection and progress reports
• Ensure all works meet KPIs, budgets, and compliance standards
• Coordinate staff and contractor scheduling
• Build strong working relationships with community representatives, suppliers, and contractors
• Identify and facilitate training opportunities for staff
• Uphold high safety, environmental, and policy standards
• Represent and promote the Corporation’s interests within the community
• Travel to remote sites as required

About You

• Experience in municipal services, civil works, or a related field (supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
• Willingness to travel to remote areas when needed
