Our aim is to provide efficient short-term crisis assistance, such as coordinating emergency transport and accommodation and addressing basic needs, such as food, clothing, home safety upgrades and more, within the first 72 hours of the incident. We also provide warm referrals for long-term support, which may involve legal, health, financial, and housing support.

What to expect in your new role
Cairns (QLD) Response & Connection Practitioners provide immediate assistance to victims/survivors referred to VoCCR by the QPS (Queensland Police Service) after experiencing an act of interpersonal violence.
